The strategy ensures that the tutor and the mentee have a common understanding.
First, I will visit the mentor on a regular basis to facilitate frequent contact and information sharing.
Secondly, the tutor must develop new perspectives and resources to enhance the learning process.
Thirdly, for a period of time the success of the mentorship will be tracked appropriately.
The analysis also helps to recognize areas which need to be changed.
The mentor will provide adequate guidance to determine the rate of career development.
Description of the Mentor
Nissa Bailey, my mentor, is a graduate of St. Joseph High School.
She has studied a Bachelor's of Arts in Justice System Services.
Ms Bailey has a Master's of Arts in the Public Administration from the University of the Virgin Islands.
Since 1999, she has been serving in Superior Court of the Virgin Islands, St. Croix Division.
The entity had employed in Probation Department before she was promoted to Assistant Director of Human Resources.
The mentor is a civic minded person.
She believes in preparing well today to gain more opportunities in future.
