While looking to recruit a customer service assistant, as the HR manager, I would examine these places for a possible candidate. The first place to look will be within the corporation. This is because current employees, particularly interns, not only have the necessary skills and experience, but they are also aware of the organizational values to which they must adhere at all times.
The second option is to use the internet networking site LinkedIn. Since companies check the profiles of different individuals, this is now one of the largest employee databases used for easier networking and job chances.
Finally, I would employ both online and offline advertising. This should bring in a rich pool of potential customer service assistants to select from. The fourth option would be to use recruitment agencies that will give shortlist from their database the kind of assistant I am looking for. The last option will be to seek recommendations. Keeping in mind that customer service assistants have to do more with skilled work, talking to the right people for recommendations can help the company recruit one with ease.
Production Line Employee Recruitment
On the other hand, recruiting two production line employees should take into consideration the need for workers who are physically capable of the task. Learning on the job should be easy and therefore, I would first look for college and university students seeking part-time employment.
Production line employees require the least of skills and since those in higher education want income to meet their needs, they make for good employees with the least skills and experience.
The second place to recruit the production line employees will be at the mall simply because this is where the majority of the young population can be found.
The third place will be at the local community center where parents and other family members can communicate on the job offering to their friends and relatives.
The fourth place has to be through word of mouth. Employees of the company and especially those in the production line can be asked to communicate the message.
The last place to explore will have to be the company's neighbors as part of being socially responsible to those who reside close to it.
