Ethnic and cultural variety make up the fabric of American society. The core values of a person or a group are their core beliefs. However, a person's environment and situation can readily change or have an impact on these fundamental principles. Folk painters went to the countryside to offer to give descriptions to the middle-class Americans in 1876, despite the fact that they were facing a big challenge from the tastemakers who insisted on looking abroad for traditional styles. New cultural institutions started to offer opportunities for artists to learn and exhibit, and artistic careers started to expand. In 1926 America Americans had undergone some transformation, and they had left some of their cultures and adopted modern cultures. This transformation was seen in a generation of artists, writers, and intellectuals who came up in the Roaring Twenties, this was during the First World War (Wade 15). The aftermath of the war was disillusioning, and many people began to question the values and assumption of the western civilization.
Religion
In 1950s America had become a Religious nation, religion made a big resurgence, and most of American became church members. Though there were rivals in two type of religion, Eisenhower and Norman Peale who was a preacher emerged there was widespread of religion.
Civilization
In 2016 America with its global connection has grown in culture and it has developed an urge to adopt, adapt and to influence other cultural trends in the world. Most of American had got accesses to education and training in various fields.
Most of these values are similar in both rural and urban regions since it was majorly contributed by the rapid industrialization. After the second industrial revolution, most of the American were shifted from their farms to the city. The United States transitioned from the traditional farm and adopted modern methods (Wade 17). Those who left their farms went to seek for job opportunities in the large industries.
