archeologist and anthropologist

A walk to a distant part of civilization revealed previously unseen findings. Some animals were crawling, others were flying, and even others were walking. It's unknown where they came from, but the neighborhood didn't seem to have a house for either of them. At times, it's possible to think the animals came from somewhere else and assembled for something extraordinary. The position seemed to be identical in style. That is the presence seen as it rains. The leaves, flowers, shrubs, and other plants all seemed to be the same. They were modern and exciting. Comparing to other places, it looked like the rains had fallen in the place a couple of days ago. Other places had a different appearance, which is similar to other conditions during dry seasons.

There were various objects, some big as others were small. The appearances and colors were distinct from each other. An abandoned site had one some sharp-edged stones that people might utilize in making sheltering houses. In that place, an attractive appearance was the standard shape that convinced me of the working of some machine or other unique skills. The colors were gray like some stones. Besides them, smaller stones cut into tiny pieces were in a heap, as is the appearance in most areas where people build. A few meters from the place was standing an enclosed structure with a closed top. People were moving in and not of the place. The difference between this and my place is the appearance that the structure had from far. The top had a smooth and a shiny material covering it, visible from far. The picture below taken by phone during the visit shows the site.

The purpose of the artifacts is to assist in the discovery of ongoing activities on the site, which is majorly building. Upcoming houses require the use of these materials and artifacts mentioned above. By using the modern language, these are the human inventions and discoveries aiding building and construction of shelters as it was on this site. From the observation, some are old as some are new. There are structures I saw from my childhood as some I saw later in life. These indicate the changes human development take from the old days to the current. For the study of archeology, these artifacts will form the basis of drawing human development and invention to the original dates bearing the activities met by these artifacts. The conclusions about their origin are diversity of human activities. These objects vary in use, design, appearance and labels in a way that does not predict they are from a particular place. It also indicates that the development of men is diverse and the study of human history is a different topic. Their purpose on the site is the show of how people combined ideas and knowledge to complete their activities and needs. The necessity of a building and house compelled them to design and come up with ways of building.

From these observations, the origins of these artifacts, use, and purposes are from different locations. The different materials are from a collection of various human activities. In the old days, it was not easy to find people discovering everything they use at one place. The traveling and interaction with other people generated ideas that they could borrow from one location to another. The style of work like the structures, which in real life were houses are explorations and discoveries of different ways experts brought inventions to the lives of humanity. Nobody knows the places where these started, but they are fast spreading from one location to another.

Uses of these artifacts are suggestions that human life is diverse and discoveries have reached rocket-high steps. Most of these materials were not in the Stone Age. Their appearance and uses in this era are significant indications that progress of human life is real and has taken longer strides, complex thinking and accurate placement of ideas. More analysis of the use of artifacts informs of the vivid determination of people to achieve what they feel is right for their stay.

The purpose of the site is to tell an archeologist of the steps human life made from the past. It presents a great archeological site for the current study of human progress. Long ago, people stayed in the bush where no buildings and working tools as in the current places existed. Their life was a little narrow, without variety. Today’s world has building designs, working tools, and different personnel point to the changes and developments people made from the Stone Age period to date. An example is the discovery of colors that make buildings and different materials look unique. Few people knew even ways of stopping rust in buildings. Today, such are options with ironing sheets coming in either amalgams or galvanizations with others to lengthen their lives. Much is visible, especially the wide gap between the old days and the current site regarding changes the people made from one item to another.

Analytical methods may vary depending on the elements of investigation. However, for a site like this, it is helpful to use more methods of analysis as a way of drawing the history of the place. Apart from observation, other methods suitable in the area are surveying, excavation, and remote sensing methods. Remote sensing helps in developing the image and appearance of the location without the physical presence. Surveying allows for the visiting of the places of study, collecting the relevant information for the research. It involves using information from this site to test hypotheses already set from some historical documents and postulates. Analysis of building stones is not simple without visiting the locations of the places they come from. The best way to analyze building stones is by visiting the places of their mining, collecting information on how the stones achieve their current shapes. This draws attention to the different tools and machines human beings use in building and construction. Alongside that, one can come across, which involve new materials and artifacts. All these methods combined will help bring the archeological information to right analyses and credible conclusions (Macaulay, 2009).

Archeologists face problems they cannot handle efficiently in finding out the origin of some structures or artifacts. The first is their method of analysis. Analysis of archaeological sites to come up with concrete information is not cheap (Macaulay, 2009). Some analysis may require high-end technologies like cameras that use radar technology, mounted on planes. People spend an arm and leg to achieve these. As a result, some archaeologists who cannot afford these give up and submit unsubstantiated research. The emergence of these gaps and poor analysis render the field of anthropology and archeologists unproductive. The funds should be available to enable them to find more information, which they need for the studies.

A major part of finding information is using documented data for analysis. Data should give historical information about the item of analysis. Before the discovery of information storage people only stored information by their memories. Memories are helpful if people can be alive and recall the information as they happened (Macaulay, 2009). Some information that archeologists need a stretch to historical times where they cannot find the data required. Some of the modern improvements that if present before would aid archeologists work include photography, publishing, and videotaping. These store information that is observable, readable and accessible to reprint. If they were available, they could be helpful in supporting research. They stand better than stories from people that in most cases undergo distortion from one generation to another (Macaulay, 2009).

In addition to the reasons above, material changes are a threat to information discovery. Most of the tools change from time to time, making detection of the actual structure from the old days difficult. Some rust, others undergo radiation while some can melt. With these inconsistencies in structure and forms, archeologists have difficult time creating consistent information from the patches. It would be wise if the archeologists found materials remaining in their original form from the day of their making to the current. Such sources of information are easy to handle as they point to the exact information needed from the materials in question. Finally, tackling the challenges above improves the credibility of information to researchers.

In conclusion, the site of the visit had strange things, whose description was confusing without using any current terminology. Most developments in the human environment are up-to-date and take the current names. In the old language, it becomes difficult to give names to different things. However, the importance of such things to the human environment leads to inventions of names and other things that people use for their development. In the building site, the importance of these artifacts is assistance they accord to the learning and discovery of human activities in relation to their buildings. Their history is, however, difficult for some reasons. Challenges of poor funding for research and proper documentation of facts pose challenges to archaeologists who would love to investigate human life and development. For better analysis, people who in the past used these tools in a different fashion. As developments changed the face of the earth, it became apparent the disappearing history of inventions. Digging deep becomes easy with all the information regarding the stages these items went through. It will make the work of archeologists easy.
