A well-described book

When faced with uncertainty or unable to choose the greatest books to buy and read, readers can make wise decisions with the aid of a well-described book. Additionally, book descriptions give purchasers and readers complete information of a book's and a specific text's contents. A good book description should include information about the book's format and content. The message, experiences, or encounters that are intended for a certain audience or set of people are referred to as a book's content. In the essay, two books by different authors are described and contrasted. Franks book, the Americans has a well-detailed content, which is easy for its readers to understand. The book is an analysis of the story of America, in the form of a story of a young boy who lives a life full of misery. The sixteen-year-old boy does not have any parents, and through the various bad experiences that he goes through so as to survive, he opts to go back to his foster mother (Frank). The boy, however, does not like the idea of staying at his adoptive parents, because there was an, ill healed man, who was as well residing there. The author, therefore, has brought out the amazing story of how America is in reality, in a touching narration.

Format of `the Americans`

The “Americans” has been written in a format that marks the preferences of its writer. It consists of photographs that were very different from those of the other American photographers. Their form included an unusual focus, low lighting, and cropping, which deviated from accepted photographic techniques (Frank).



Description of Edward`s book, The family of man (content)

The family of man was written by Edward Steichen, who was a director of the museum of modern arts. The book entails a collection of photography, which has over the past years, been a great attraction to many readers. The content of the book requires official copies, which date from the year 1955 (Edward). The book has played a significant role in the history of the people, and through its exhibitions throughout the world, it has drawn considerable attentions concerning it. On the other hand, the book by Edward has undergone various renovations, about the different exhibition places that it has been present.

Format of `The Family of Man.'

The form of a book refers to the way or design in which, something is organized and arranged, so as to ensure that it is easily understandable, and interpretable. The format of a book entails the structure, and layout of its pages, as well as the divisions of its pages, in connection with its page arrangements, and the way they are printed (Edward). The format of books is important as they act as a basis under which an individual reads the book, or which he finds it attractive to read. Various writers use different formats when composing their texts and most of them put into consideration their preferences, as well as those of their customers.

In contrary to that, Edwards's book mainly focuses on the different experiences he suffered in the American state by memorizing an exhibition, and he also insists on a common humanity. In addition to that, the book The Americans entail a presentation of photographs, in the form of the narration of a story of a young boy, and then a representation of the whole thing in the shape of photos, to illustrate how life is in America (Frank). Moreover, the family of man is mostly a focus on the art of photography, and the author aims at showcasing his art in the exhibitions areas.

Intentions of the Authors

Franks intention in writing his book was to bring out the issue of the American culture, and its effects. He also composed his text with the aim of criticizing the idea of wealth, open race, and also raised his concerns about the impact of class differences (Frank). In contrary to that, Edward wrote his book, with the intention of bringing a change in the art of photography, and also with the aim of promoting the idea of universal humanity.

Response to the books

The two books have raised critical ideas concerning humanity, in a way that is easily understood, and easy to interpret in photograph forms. Edwards's book has brought an excellent idea concerning common understanding, which is essential for good relations among people. On the other hand, the author of the Americans has also clearly outlined his concern about the importance of responding to the issue of the class differences of people in America, and the effects of racism, as well as the less wealthy (Frank). The two authors have therefore composed texts of great concern, due to the great ideas about humanity that they entail. Thus, they all deserve an excellent appraisal.
