The recent BBC Music Festival
The recent BBC Music Festival was a great success characterized by not only trending for over 24 hours but also customer satisfaction. The clients came for professional services that would help ensure that all the details of the event were taken into the account. Our mandate as event organizers is to assist event owners to plan effectively. According to Carter, event planning helps to achieve the objectives of an event (Carter 5). This way we manage to give the organization process our full attention thus enabling meticulous execution of tasks. After agreeing on the client's requirements, our role begins with setting up the venue to availing all the resources needed to facilitate the event's program. The activities of an events planner should strictly adhere to the provided proposal (Allen 27).
Tasks at the BBC Music Festival
During the BBC Music Festival, our company was contracted to conduct three main tasks. The first was to set up the performance stage where the event was held. The second task was to install and test a sound system and the lighting for the event. The final job was to organize the security of the event. Each of the said tasks had a score, not below 7/10. The only area we experienced challenges was in security, particularly crowd control to protect the artists. However, the event was generally a success, and the client appreciated our services by giving us a contract to manage their future events in the coming year.
