Organizational leaders with a secure attachment style will have higher levels of emotional intelligence and transformational leadership skills. The reason behind this allegation is due to the manner in which these individuals conduct themselves amidst challenges that face their organizations. Emotional intelligence as explained by psychologists consists of situations in which individuals remain firm amidst changes that affect their emotions. When feelings are kept intake, this comes with great advantages to the organization and the leaders handling situations. Through such composition of oneself, decisions made will be both valid and concrete as they do not rely on emotional changes experienced (Camgöz & Karapinar, 2016).

A secure attachment leadership style is one that comprises of strong administration traits and characteristics that are worth emulating. For one person, a secure management style ensures that their followers are well catered for in their needs. Also, there is a personal stimulation towards proper performance within the organization with an aim of fulfilling their roles. Attachment orientations also regard the means in which people coexist within a certain environment and thus with secure leadership style there is bound to be proper correlation amongst managers and their followers. Their emotional intelligence guides their instincts and, therefore, aids in their views on matters affecting the organization at large (Ylmaz, 2012).

A secure attachment style is characterized by great abilities to lead people accordingly and there is also respect for laws and regulations put in place. Therefore, leaders that possess emotional intelligence are bound to give positive feedbacks and also point out areas that need improvement (Camgöz & Karapinar, 2016). They are free to praise their subordinates for great achievements within the organization. Similarly, there is bound to be a commitment to fiduciary duties as well as the involvement of all staff in the decision-making process. Any kind of sabotage that is likely to be done is often guarded when emotional intelligence is involved in leadership.
