My degree certificate program at Collin is Associate of arts (business) which offers knowledge in the business field. The degree covers practical business information which prepares students for careers in business fields such as banking, management as well as accounting (Miterev, Maxim, Mats Engwall " Anna Jerbrant 16).
The three leading careers that require one to have a degree in associates of arts business are:
Program management- coordinating team working on related projects, overseeing efforts to come up with new suites of accounting software
Administrative assistant- providing different types of administrative assistance to workers, resolving information requests as well as maintaining electronic and paper files.
Office manager- maintenance of office services through organizing office procedures and operations, controlling correspondence, designing filling system as well as preparing payroll
My intended career is program management. A program manager can be said to be a “super” project manager. Even if it is essential to have business knowledge, there is always more stress when it comes to the management skills of a program manager (Miterev, Maxim, Mats Engwall " Anna Jerbrant 56). The primary role of a project manager is planning, governing as well as overseeing the successful delivery of a program’s output.
The primary duties of a program manager include:
Managing the budget of a program
Managing issues and risks as well as taking corrective measurements
Managing and utilizing resources across projects
Skills needed to be a program manager
Capability to work effectively with a wide range of people involved in program management
A better understanding of the overall objectives of the program
Strong management as well as leadership skills
Good handling and knowledge of projects and program management techniques as well as methodology (Thiry " Michel, 44).
