They know that technology can put their students at risk. For instance, online sex workers can bully, assault and recruit small children to their platform of crimes and hence endangering their lives. This is very persistent and consistent since sex offenders utilize the social media platform to advertise their activities. Children may borrow vague information from technology. This can in case the student watches pornographic films, online dangerous groups like Freemasons and Illuminati are all over the media recruiting individuals to join their company. This is very risky to children since they got little knowledge on these things (Much & Łuczaj 2016). Uncontrolled access can make them navigate tremendously too many websites which can be a risk or not helpful to their lives.

Technology has a very great added advantage to education currently. This can be a research, teleconferencing, speed and accuracy and provision of reliable information to student and lectures. However, the negative sides are increasingly becoming indefinite. Poor performance and loss of mind can be attributed to gaming and addiction to internet sources. Silicon Valley schools have invested on a tech-free platform to enable their student gains firsthand information, avoid risks that may befall to their students on the use of technological devices and hence create awareness to the other schools that there is a great transformation on students without utilization of technology in education.
