Philosophy is defined as the justification or rationale that people provide in relation to all manner of the phenomenon. The four central branches of philosophy are epistemology, metaphysics, ethics and the philosophy of religion. Epistemology is concerned with issues of knowledge and truth. It concerns itself with the acquisition of knowledge and justification of true facts and beliefs (Cunninghum " Fitzgerald, 1996). On the other hand, the branch of metaphysics is concerned with the justification of non-physical elements in this world. This branch aims at unveiling the mysteries relating to issues of existence of different aspects like the universe, space and time. Thus, philosophers subscribing to the branch of metaphysics make attempts to give an explanation of occurrences of natural phenomenon as we see in today’s world (Koons " Pikavance, 2015).
Consequently, the philosophy of religion makes attempts to justify the existence of God and the universe and all that is in it today. This realm of philosophy specifically in the Christian faith gives the explanation of the creation of all items in the universe by a supreme being. This branch of philosophy also elaborates on the aspects of miracles, the existence of deities like angels and the perception of evil, in this case, in relation to the Christian faith (Steven " Zachary, 2006; Planttiga, 2000; Brown, 1984). Lastly, the branch of moral philosophy is concerned with the actions as morally/ethically right or wrong based in given guidelines (Williams, 2012; Blamey " Thompson, 2017).
In conclusion, it is of the essence to note that the different branches of philosophy make significant contributions through the justifications that they provide in relation to the different philosophical phenomenon.
