In our present social environment, teen pregnancy is common. An increasing number of the younger population in schools are dealing with the rise of early sexual encounters, unintended pregnancies, and numerous pregnancy-related challenges. The majority of the time, these issues don't arise voluntarily; instead, they take the form of loss, hopelessness, and sorrow. Teenagers are given the power to make better and more progressive choices through the recognition of such factors and an understanding of their significance. Teen pregnancy can be prevented in part by having sex, creating positive youth development programs, involving the entire community in sex education, abstaining from sex, talking about alternatives, and not making sex a taboo topic. Sex talk involves two main aspects, being open and honest. Sex talk is useful when it is made back and forth, that is, the two parties have comfortable responding environments (Mueller et al. 57). The teens just need much awareness of how their bodies work and positive effects of avoiding early pregnancies. The teens can know what the value of sex is and the best values to believe and pursue. This solution is practical for the teachers or parents who initiate the talk and need to "walk their talk" and act as role models to the teens. The whole society similarly benefits as the younger generation is trimmed to grow with good sex values which are essential for the next generation.

Youth development programs by the school similarly help in fostering resilience among adolescents. Implementation of these plans should be centered on three main pillars of connectedness, character, and confidence. They should be aimed at instilling the teens with the feeling of belonging, togetherness, self-worth, and being contented that satisfying peer and family relationships are attainable. Such programs will result in the creation of a principled and self-aware pool of young teens who will inject positive sex values to the rest of public. The programs also act as milestones for establishing vibrant future female leaders who are ready to shun negative stereotype of women (Mueller et al. 89). This solution is also useful since such programs act as avenues of molding sex educators who later sensitize the whole community on matters teen pregnancy.

Additionally, involving the whole community both the school-based and community-based initiatives is important. The anti-teen pregnancy crusades should involve local players such as churches, local business persons, barber shops, and chemists to spread the gospel of safe sex. They should include information pertaining birth control measures and long-lasting effects of unwanted pregnancies. This strategy is aimed at widening the life opportunities to the youth who doubles up as the primary victims of teen pregnancies (Fong et al. 78). The whole community should also target the boy child by sensitizing and involving them in sex education programs. This solution is relevant since teen pregnancies affect the entire society in that school dropouts and increase in HIV/AIDS negatively impact the country's gross domestic product.

Therefore, parents, teachers, church leaders and all relevant stakeholders need to engage in sex education to scrap this menace actively. The benefits accrued to general participation in sex education is that, the social fabric regarding values is strengthened; the parents avoid the unnecessary spending on their teens and lastly an increase in the gross domestic value of the country. This value is increased because vulnerabilities related to teen pregnancies such as HIV/AIDS and school dropouts are entirely scrapped off.
