This letter is to express my interest for the position of a Student Ambassador at Langton University. I am currently working at Langston University Bookstore, Langston and expecting to enroll in Langton University in May 2021 to undertake a bachelor’s degree in Science and Public health. I have also worked In Sketchers Factory Outlet, Lawrenceville as a sales representative and, at Lifetime Fitness Lawrenceville, GA as a Kids Activity Team Member. I also involve myself with some campus activities, and I am a participating member of different groups such as B.O.S.S. (Building Ourselves into Successful Sisters), pre-alumni council and the National Congress of Negro Women aimed at addressing various issues in the community. Due to my influential contribution, I have received a number of awards including Miss N.C.N.W. (National Council of Negro Women) and LUNAA $1000 Scholarship.
I believe that my studies and experience with people combined with the exposure I have had made me a strong candidate for a student ambassador position. As my curriculum vitae shows, I have had excellent opportunities to connect with a wide range of people in from different orientations and lifestyles. Having worked as a salesperson for a reputable company, I have knowledge and experience in effective communication and personal relations. I also have proper leadership, managerial and organizational skills that allow me to execute duties well, on time and with precision.
My involvement in different groups has provided me with the inspiration to serve and be a better person especially to the people around me and impact my environment positively. As a group member, I encourage other members to appreciate and better themselves and their environments. My goal in life has always been to promote intellectual intelligence among people and to work with them to create a more productive and positive world around me. I would like to be part of the organizations as I believe that the chance will not only help me improve my skills and knowledge but also serve other people around me better.
