Numerous social issues are brought about by social change in society. The goal of social transformation is to destroy a predetermined system that leads to the emergence of the issue. Social change as a research problem at the initial stages entails exploring synergies between recent developments in the social identity of helping. There is also the review of the potential of the issue and outrage to transform the group's matter into positivity. The social change research problem aims at developing a framework through which action strategies can come in place. Internal and external factors relating to the target group need consideration. It's to aid in creating a context that facilitates formation of the group's interests. Distinctions realized allow for a holistic discussion of the problem. Based on that, the most efficient way to tackle the problem depends on the issue and the likelihood to shape perceptions and social change outcomes (Thomas, McGarty & Mavor, 2009).


Gap the Study Will Address


In our context, the study will solve the gap of juvenile recidivism in the society. The issue is mostly a byproduct of modernization and industrialization thereby requiring keen attention due to its causes and effects. Influences in the family such as economic instability, domestic violence, broken homes and drug and substance abuse are among the leading causes. Besides that, there are other external factors such as peer pressure and influences that play a role. Juvenile recidivism is a matter affecting the community as a whole. Economic programs concerning the issue have further raised concerns about their sustainability. Additionally, the youth justice system conduct in tackling the matter has further complicated and worsened the problem in finding a lasting solution. With that in mind, there is the need to come up with appropriate social change strategies and approaches that would address the problem conclusively. It's with the objective of avoiding the emergence of future eventualities and spilling out of control.


Purpose Statement Aligned to the Research Question


To a graduate student, social change refers to a condition that many people consider undesirable and wish to have it corrected. Based on that, there is need to explore the effectiveness of the justice system and policy programs with regards to their sustainability of lowering juvenile recidivism. It got occasioned by the need to address the matter holistically and come up with a specific corrective model. There was the demand to study the dominant discourse of the judiciary not appropriately lessening reoffending which made the study justifiable in suggesting an approach that emerges applicable to tackle the retributive justice system (Rodriguez, 2007). Also, the viability of policy programs got scrutinized regarding their economic implications. It was to determine their effectiveness in providing an excellent solution and accounting for the intended value. A framework came in place to guide the research in establishing action strategies useful for the interested group. What is more, the efficiencies of the procedures were suitably chosen based on their likelihood to shape perceptions and social outcomes.
