Civilization has become a catalyst in allowing people with different cultural backgrounds to communicate with people from other cultural backgrounds. Similarly, technological advancements have enabled people from different cultural backgrounds to communicate with others from different cultural backgrounds. As a result, the majority of businesses employ people with a variety of ethnic backgrounds. Companies typically outsource their jobs, and as a result, newly hired employees introduce a new culture. A leader in such an organization ought to be well conversant with cultural diversity and how to maintain them so that each interest is put into consideration.
Global and US Art Tech & Civilization Course
I studied the course, Global and US Art Tech & Civilization and it prepared me as an organizational leader who can lead and manage an organization with cultural diversity. It was through the study of the course (Global and US Art Tech & Civilization) that I got a chance to be introduced to some topics that shaped my skills as a leader in an interconnected world. The course entailed the interconnectedness of global dynamics, cross-cultural differences, and the changes in art from different epochs. Further, it included identification of art as well as examining to understand them as an expression of human values, the creative process together with the creative thinking, and finally the technical aspects of developing art by the use of a multiplicity of media.
Cultural Diversity in the Workplace

The interconnected world requires a leader who understands the religious beliefs of different denominations. For instance, Islamic religion considers Friday as a holy day and that they attend their mosques for prayers. It means that their working days should exclude Fridays. An effective leader in such a setting would take into consideration the beliefs of the Islamic people when making the decision. I studied global dynamics which better prepared me to understand and appreciate the diversity in religions. In making any decision, I would put into consideration the religious beliefs of particular people in workplaces.
Impact on Decision Making
Cultural diversity has an impact on an organizational leader. In my case, cultural diversity has influenced me on how I make decisions.
