Over the years, African Americans in the united states have undergone discrimination form the white people. There has been a series of segregation of facilities where the blacks and whites have the same facilities in different area (Möschel, 2014).
The blacks were also prohibited from being in certain places. Like in 1939, they were not allowed to visit streets on palm beach Florida (Boyer, 2013).
In1883, the court also declared a ban on interracial marriages.
Blacks are perceived to be illiterate thus they have to work extra hard to prove that they qualify for a certain position despite their academic qualifications.

Gender inequality.
Male chauvinism has been a great societal problem throughout the years. Men are perceived to possess more power over their female counterparts. Contemporary society has seen a significant decrease in male chauvinism.
The technical field is the most affected since technical jobs are believed to be more male suited since time immemorial (wright, 2002). Efforts to change the perception are bearing fruit since we have more female engineers, pilots and other career women.
The slogan that a woman’s place is in the kitchen is due for eradication (Lepage, 2014).

Religious, cultural inequality.
Most terrorist dominates, war zone nations are Muslim countries. Form this then, terrorism is associated with Muslims. Their faith teaches them to protect what they stand for despite the extents they have to go to. Being a Muslim dictate that you are always a terrorist suspect especially when visiting a first world country (Harris, 2011).
