Analysis Chapter 2 of the Greek Piece of Art

Throughout history, art has played an important part in the growth of culture and the preservation of history.

A variety of art architects are shown in a variety of ways.

These elements are the style, the artists' backgrounds, the materials used to create the work of art, the meaning derived, and the sources (Kleiner 10).

However, thanks to technical advancements, painting has evolved over time.

The study of a piece of art depicting the Assyrians' battle as recorded long ago in the historical ages as they fight their enemies are presented in this article.

The analysis of the Greece-Syrian war piece of art in comparison with the Roman art is chiefly the backbone of the paper.

The piece of art is considered to the major standpoint in the historical point of view that represents what happened in the historical paradigm (Kleiner 44).

This indicates a period between 875-860 BC, this is about 1154 years of age at a time when the Syrians were in war with their enemies.

As such, the piece of art is from the Syrian culture and norms.

Considering the piece of art, the design and style depicts victory in war as the artist indicated men with arrows chasing their enemies to an extent that they almost caught them (Whitley 26).

Also, the figurative meaning achieved is clearly indicating the medieval times, where the weapons used were traditionally made.

Also, the piece of art is in the 2-Dimentional representation (Kleiner 46).

This is evidenced by the fixed angle in which the warriors were captured in design by the artist.

There is no definite movement to deem it a 3-Dimentional representation of a piece of art.

Furthermore, the piece of art was made of diamond ores which were molded to make a strong plate that was embedded in a metallic-like plate attached on a wall (Kleiner 61).

In the metallic plate designs or visible drawings were made that showed meaning of the historical events of a significant war victory by the Syrians.

From the design, the ancient artists magnified the two a Syrians so that they are depicted as elements of victory as they shot arrows to the running small-presented enemies.

I chose the piece of art because it showed a large representation of the nature of events that are worth noting as they affect a myriad people globally.

War is one of the events that always leaves scars on people's hearts (Whitley 18).

For instance, the piece of art portrays a clearly meaning of what happens in during war as war is one a menace that affects the growth of a society and its effects are traumatic.

The effects of war stand from generation to generation.

In regard to this, both Greek and the Roman pieces of art share a number of elements which are analogous to the all ancient art (Kleiner 75).

For instance, the use of figurative language and symbols to stress the meaning of the message sent to the recipients is a common phenomenon for both cultures.

In addition to that, the materials used in almost all the cultures and the objective of the artists are synonymous.

Therefore, Gardeners through his book brings out the historical order and layout of the nature of ancient art in a number of cultures.

Each culture has its style of the art they preserve to their generations.

The analysis of the pieces of art is a key goal in synthesizing the growth of art from the historical foundation to the present digital era.
