A search engine refers to a software system designed for information searching on the World Wide Web. The debut of search engines was in December 1990. The results of search engines are presented normally in a line of results in most cases termed as engine results pages. The information searched may be a mix of images, web pages, and files. Some of the search engines have been included with mine data in open directories or databases. They maintain real-time information and they achieve this through having an algorithm running on a web crawler. Google search engine is considered as the search engine that is most-used globally. Its order of search results is based on a priority rank system referred to as “PageRank” (Search Engine Land). Google search engine offers several different options for users customized search, the use of symbols to specify, exclude, include or the need specific search behavior. The search engine also provides interactive experiences that are specialized, like packaging tracking and flight status, currency, weather forecast, time conversions, and word definitions. It makes use of programs that are automated called crawlers or spiders and enjoys a large keywords index and where those words can be located.

Google LLC is an American company with its headquarters in Mountain View, California (Search Engine Land). The company has had a rapid growth and this can be attributed to how incorporation has managed to trigger a chain of acquisitions, products, and partnerships beyond the core search engine. Google is a market leader in the Android mobile operating system development, the Chrome OS, the Google Chrome and lightweight operating system. The recent past has seen Google increasingly move into hardware partnering with leading electronics manufacturers to aid in the production of the Nexus device.
