I am a freshman from India, and I have come to America to pursue a degree. My transition from my home country has been successful, and I am glad to have been admitted to this institution. I am going to major in electrical engineering and I have chosen to pursue this course as I have all it takes to become an exceptional electrical engineer through the training I will receive during the study.
Academic Strength
I have shown an excellent understanding and performance in science and mathematics. I have always viewed math as a fun way of interacting with numbers, and I like science as I enjoy the discovery of how the world works through acquiring new information. I am a fast learner who delights in interacting with computers and machines in general. In addition, I possess exceptional leadership skills that I believe will be an added advantage during my course of study and in the future working environment.
Technologies I am Familiar With
I have interacted with people who develop mobile phones and computer applications and realized that I need a deeper insight which will be accomplished in the course of my study. As the technological advancements keep on changing rapidly, I aim to study how to catch up with it and to transform the world.
Career Plans after Graduation
It has always been my desire to work with the high-end companies such as Microsoft that will enhance my ability and skills that I will learn from school. Upon completion of this course, I will engage in internship opportunities in areas of my specialization that will be my stepping-stone to my future employment.
