Business classes at the University of South California (USC)
Business classes are the foundation of University of South California (USC), which is known for its MBA Marshall Programs. As a result, all admitted students enroll in business-related classes, and several units are available. (MBA Programs 1). Admission to such a facility calls for special abilities that are essential to the growth of the team, the facility, and society at large. The essays look at how I contributed to my class as a whole and the society when I was accepted to USC.
Contributions to classmates at USC
If given the opportunity to join USC, there are a number of contributions that I will make to my classmates. The contributions are majorly outside the class work and are aimed at creating an atmosphere that will bring out the good in each of my classmates. I will ensure proper utilization of time at the disposal of my classmates for the growth of clubs and associations in USC. The clubs and associations stem from the religious, academic, economic, and social spheres. This entails social and religious clubs such as peer counselling and religious organizations who intentions are to ensure each member in my class grows morally upright. In this regard, exploitations of avenues to aid in the growth of each person so as to serve as a role model in a dynamic society is upheld (Rondeau 15).
Community development services and projects
Also, I will launch community development services and project that will help the immediate communities from the school vicinity. Such community projects and services include planting of trees, public cleaning events, provision of food and clothes to the orphans, elderly, and physically challenged members of the society around.
Activities for USC goals and objectives
Furthermore, I will ensure activities that promote achievement of USC goals, objectives, and core values are my foremost plans for my classmates in the institution during free time. These activities include proper discussions and forums that is aimed at improving the environment, characters, and courses being offered at the college. This is accompanied by international projects and fairs in the respective fields of study which are published in the public scientific websites for publicity of the institution.
Peer or group strategies for community development
The community setting around the institution is one of the component that affects the running of the university. Therefore, I will employ a number peer or group strategies that help in the development of the community around the university. For instance, one day I lead team of my peers in community sensitization program on health education and HIV/AIDS. In such a program, I grouped my peers into 10 and gave them materials that aided in educating the public on the dangers of unprotected sex and methods of combating sexually transmitted diseases. I also led a team to another day to educate the community of management of our environment. This involved preservation of environment by planting trees, cleanliness, and proper methods of garbage disposal. The team provided central containers in every block in the community that made collection of garbage very simple. On a different day, the team that I led visited the sick in several hospitals around the institution. The main target of visiting the sick in hospitals is to show concern for them and provide them with moral support which is significant for the growth of the entire community.
