Examines epidemiology, public health, and the promotion of health and disease prevention as they relate to the determinants and measurements of health and illness.
The goal of the study is to investigate the variety of variables that have an impact on both the individual and collective health of the community. These elements, which collectively work to impact the development of disease, broadly include a person's natural behaviors and characteristics as well as their physical, social, and economic environments. Interventions to prevent disease and promote health should target all of these determinants because the relationship between these factors affects a population's overall health state. The research will also evaluate the various epidemiological measurements that describe the occurrence of health related events. Such measures include incidence and prevalence etc. which assess the frequency of disease. Strategies geared towards engaging and empowering individuals and communities in healthy behaviors to prevent and reduce disease will also be addressed. These procedures often involve population based interventions that minimize disease burden.

Distinguishes the health services organizations and delivery structures, functions, and professionals.
Health services organizations comprise of individuals or institutions who deliver health care services spanning several parts of the continuum of care. The research will shed light on the diverse delivery platforms such as health-related goods' outlets, health facilities, etc. and the health services provision platform which is a function of both health professionals as well as other allied health workers who work cooperatively in the delivery of health care.

Compares unique characteristics of law and ethics in health services
Laws and ethics in the delivery of health services are unique for their values and principles which do not necessarily provide answers to situations but instead, yield a framework for comprehending the conflicts. The research aims to highlight possible conflicts between the values such as in situations where health providers have to act according to the interests of the patient despite there being better alternatives, in a bid to uphold the respect for the patients’ right to autonomy.
