The Relationship between Happiness and Knowledge

Aristotle's distinction between Knowledge and Theoretical Knowledge is a practical discipline which aims at enlightening the society about the matters of conduct in practical. Many psychologists have tried to provide counter-arguments relating to Aristotle's claims on knowledge and theoretical knowledge. However, most of the scholars still use Aristotle's ideas since they are based on the practical information. For example, Aristotle claims that theoretical knowledge cannot be other than what they are. This means that they cannot be altered in any way even if new information is brought about regarding those subject matters. On the other hand, knowledge is based on subjects that could be different from what other people imagine. People can come up with a new idea which could be right. This is based on that fact that every human is a rational being and should not be limited in terms of giving ideas. The different types of ideas that are providedby such people formulate the basis of knowledge. This shows that another person might establish a better idea in which it would be more used compared to what other psychologist has claimed. Aristotle provided detailed information regarding to Knowledge and practical knowledge.

Aristotle argues that theoretical knowledge is the truth of science and mathematics. It means that only specified people could be able to have such abilities to formulate an idea regarding such aspects (Hardie 56). For any person to be able to exercise theoretical knowledge, he/she must provide detailed evidence on that subject. Over the years, there are very few people who have made use of theirtheoreticalknowledge. This is because once a subject is claimed; it cannot be altered on changed in any way. The evince provided in those subjects of science and mathematics must have been debated before people could agree to it. As such, the future generation would still use that established knowledge in their cases.

On the other hand, Aristotle explains that knowledge is about objects that could be different from what they are. A person could refute a claim about a certain object based on new evidence. In that case, the knowledge that the person has used can be based on the past or present subject of that matter (Łukasiewicz78). It is likely that knowledge on different subjects would be changed over the years as people tend to come up with new ideas and information. Also, the society should be flexible to accept such type of knowledge. It is important to note that knowledge is not based on practical evidence. As long any information sounds rights to the people, it would be accepted.

Facts about Happiness

Aristotle argued that happiness comes from leading a contemplative life.Based on how Aristotle has presented that idea, it is certain that people are more fulfilled once they are able to achieve their desires. The only way that such measures could be achievedis through living a good life. Aristotle explains that by living such a life, it will ensure that people are at peace with one another (Sherman24). For example, a person would be more determined to achieve his or her desires that would not even think of another negative aspect that could harm other people. With such type of peace of minds, it helps that individual to live a contemplative life which is more fulfilling in nature.
