present gold and jewels to present Christ as the central figure. On Jesus’ head, there are the sun and the moon that conceal their faces. Apart from being wide eyed and standing straight, Jesus is presented as a rounded figure an indication of use of classical style in designing the image of Jesus. From this image, one can conclude that Jesus overcame death. The Gero Crucifix on the other hand is a wooden sculpture portraying the human suffering of Jesus. Unlike in the Lindau Gospels cover, the sculpture paints Jesus as an abused martyr. His body is worn out and from his face and closed eyes one can identify pain and suffering. The image on the sculpture was aimed at triggering pity from the audience.
The term Romanesque
refers to the “Roman style or manner” and it was the description for the European church architecture in early medieval period. The architecture employed fire proof roofs in place of wooden roofs in addition to durable material in constructing churches. The arches for the churches’ openings such as the windows and the doors were semi-circular. The columns of the Romanesque were big to provide support to thick top layers. In addition, this architecture was associated with use of heavy vaults that was supported by solid walls and small windows.
Ivory chest and ivory book cover are excellent examples of artworks that were made from precious material through use of unique technical skill. The chest was crafted from five ivory pieces which were joined to each other through use of silver metal hardware. Ivory chest were mainly given as wedding gifts. Unlike the ivory chest, the making of ivory book cover involved paring the surfaces of the tusk using a float and chiseling the pieces to the required shape (The Editors of Encyclopaedia Britannica 2018). These artworks relate to their cultural and social context since they expound on the theme of love as the chests are given as gifts and the cover used to entitle love stories. Today, love paintings are used to expound on romance and love. Just like the artwork of Gothic era, the current paintings convey romance messages.
Audience: The audience for my paper is the government of South Africa. The choice of this audience is based on the fact that it is the one that can improve the living conditions of people to overcome economic injustices. However, reaching the government is not easy due to the observed protocols.

The relevance of the current water situation in South Africa’s capital is that it has unearthed the deeply rooted social injustices and the gap between the wealthy and those living in paucity. Therefore, this paper’s key audience is the policy makers and those in the country’s ruling class who define the groups of people entitle to specific resources as it helps them identify the manner in which the poor are currently being oppressed and are suffering due to water shortage.
Maimane (2017) and the World Bank (2014) assert that policy makers together with those in power need to come up with strategies that can help reduce the economic injustices in South Africa. They are the ones with power and the required influence of positive change.
Appeals Used: I used pathetic and logical appeals to writing this paragraph. Pathetic appeal enabled me to demonstrate how use of power and influence can help solve the economic problem in South Africa. Similarly, the logical appeal allowed me to present my information in a clear manner to enable my audience understands my claim.
