EHR software is required by the 356-bed, non-profit UNE Medical Center in the East. The purpose of this RFP is to identify a reliable supplier of software for our brand-new integrated EHR system. Our intent is to replace our existing EHR system with the software, meet meaningful use initiatives, and fulfill internal information and patient care demands.
The purpose of this RFP is to identify a supplier who can offer UNE Medical Center the finest services. In awarding the tender, several factors listed below are to be considered
Submission Guidelines & Requirements
Submissions in response to this RFP should be from only qualified individuals or firms. This qualified personnel needs to have prior experience on projects such as this. The intent of any bidder to submit a proposal should be notified to UNE medical center no later than June 26, 2017. Bidders must also list at least three projects similar to this that they have undertaken successfully.
A technical proposal and price proposal must be delivered. These proposals must not be more than three pages each. Proposals must be received by UNE Medical Center prior to June 28, 2017, to be considered and they remain valid for seven working days. UNE Medical Center will select two of the best performing firms. These two firms will then be in discussions with UNE Medical Center where the only one will receive the tender.

The EHR project has a purpose of lowering patients' waiting time, it is also to prevent multiple mistakes, and satisfy end user needs. A simple description of the project is as follows, a well-integrated EHR where all patient data accessible is reliable and in a single location
