My Response to the Situation

It is uncommon getting students with different problems in a class, and sometimes they end up failing because they cannot speak out their problems or at times, some are too bold that they cannot take advice. On the case of Riff, I understand sometimes he has grown up shy and has never gotten an opportunity to get bold and express himself in a gathering. I would sit him down and talk to him about the importance of participating in class (Stabile, 2017).  I would also tell him the techniques of overcoming fear within himself as a student. He has to participate in class for better grades.

Frank’s case is a bit tricky and requires much more intervention being that he has been talked to and still he cannot change. I would report Frank to the school's counselor for counseling on how to challenge a colleague in a much more polite manner than he does it. Even the professor can be an alternative in helping Frank as he can also talk to him about his bad character. I would advise Magenta to try to balance her time well so that she can attend classes in time despite the job she has and the responsibilities she is liable to. She cannot neglect her family, and at the same time, she cannot see quite a school (Stabile, 2017).   I would, therefore, advise her to talk to her manager at work to reschedule her check in and out time. This will help her come to classes on time and find time to complete her assignment.

I would advise Columbia to change her studying formula and change the time she takes her studies. At times, the problem might be poor reading style, and therefore, she should change the study methods and maybe the time she takes for studies, this would help. I would tell Eddie how the school does not only mean passing exams, but it also teaches life lessons that will be very important in the future (Stabile, 2017).  Punctuality is not necessarily required in school but even in workplaces. I would tell him the importance of being punctual since in the job market, there will be no exam to pass and brag but being that he will be used to getting to places late, his lateness might cost him the job (Stabile, 2017).  I would advise Janet that doing test does not mean you have to get everything right but rather to prove if you understood what was taught in class. This means she does not have to get everything right and also no one is perfect and so, she should relax, the score is not important but content matters.

My responses to this condition are about the knowledge I have based learning and teaching being a procedure. Teaching is actually about mending the dents on our world so that we look different. I believe the dents in the above students can be made and it is only through advice and teaching. With a clear knowledge of the kind of cut to mean on the students, I have to inform the most fundamental question of why they have to change (Stabile, 2017).  Through this, I believe their perception and stand about academics will change and they will be better people.
