We Learn from Failure
We have all failed at doing something and we are even likely to encounter more difficulties. We fail because we are not fully prepared, not confident enough, distracted and ignore the advice. To succeed one has to overcome the causes of failure. Setbacks give us an opportunity to do better. Many successful people failed more than once, but they were not afraid of getting what they want. This paper will discuss the need and ways of bouncing back from failure and also the lessons we learn.
Bouncing Back from Failure
We only fail in things we have tried to do. To accomplish what we were trying to achieve, we have to bounce back. We only succeed when we recover and fulfill the set goal. Therefore if one quits for not getting the expected results, they have to get past the failure to move on. For people to bounce back they have to; accept what happened, keep a positive mind frame, focus on improving, and begin again (Birkinshaw, p5). Life should not end for someone who fails. If they feel that they cannot succeed at what they are trying, they can focus on something else.
The Importance of Failure
I have experienced failure severally. The incidences have helped me develop mental toughness, understand better and grow. I learned that you cannot always succeed, be better in everything and give up. We should reflect on positives when a failure occurs and use them to succeed in the future (Birkinshaw, p4). Failure is guaranteed, and therefore everyone should be ready to face it. The biggest mistake we do is ignoring it. The only sure way to succeed is by first failing.
