In my opinion, the notion of health literacy has evolved from the realization that it is based on both individual and systemic elements. As a result, communication skills should be methodical while communicating with both laypeople and professionals.
Project-based learning is a better strategy. It is based on assessing real-world concerns and challenges. It is primarily necessary to include individuals such as students in recognizing and developing solutions to problems. For example, giving a project with an idea based on a real-world situation to link the topic or subject to the project. A natural strength I possess is being a natural leader. My perspective of leadership based on an eagle-mentality. The need to perceive problems from a higher and larger point of view then zoom into the primary cause of the major issue and handle it. I quickly take up leadership roles organically without hesitation superseding my subordinate positions.
The nurtured strength during this course is self-motivation. I have learned that to achieve success; there needs to be an innate drive within myself. Hence, I have learned to have a self-appointed mentor who keeps me in check.
Weakness
One fundamental flaw I have is being a debater. I do not like changes within a project for instance, and it prompts me to debate a lot.
A nurtured weakness is getting nervous around people. I find it difficult to initiate conversations away from work with other people. As such, I may appear as an introvert person, who am not.
Methods
One method is to list down the strengths and weaknesses and create a connection where I think I can apply to force to diminish the gap.
Another method would be to redefine the tasks which I prefer to stay away from and motivate myself to indulge in them. By handling the duties, I will build my confidence as well as acquire other skills.
