Allegiance
Allegiance is a duty to one's state or sovereign. This duty may be voluntary or compulsory depending on the circumstances. It can be a strong or weak one. A duty of allegiance can arise from a relationship. For instance, an individual may be obligated to serve his nation as a military officer, or as a citizen of that nation. Natural Allegiance
