Broadcasting refers to the dispensation of video or audio placate to a widespread audience through any electro-mass communication channel by use of radio waves. Broadcasting began a long time ago with AM radios and letter it has undergone gradual changes due to development of technology in the modern world (Thompson, 27). Different personnel’s have contributed greatly to the broadcasting industry. They need to be also recognized in terms of the work they have done to make the broadcasting industry to be where it is currently. The digital world has shown great development in terms of broadcasting as we have shifted from analog to digital methods of conveying audiovisual messages to the audience. The broadcasting of music and video started earlier that is around 1906-1907 with personnel’s like George Ohm, Marie Ampere, and Heinrich Hertz showed their pioneer work by ensuring there is broadcasting of music and talk through the radio. Globally the countries have shown great strides in invention and innovation of new technological means of broadcasting. The broadcasting industries are currently undergoing dynamic changes with new broadcasting techniques and equipment are being brought on board. In the modern world, some of personnel’s have contributed greatly to the music industry and their efforts must be recognized. One of them is Brook Burke, a young strong U.K born woman who has initiated programs in the broadcasting industry that has aided in its development. She has highly initiated the emergence of new TV programmes, movies, video games, application, model industries, and movies. This is a great change and development in the broadcasting industry.
Synopsis
Brooke Burke Charvet was born in September 1971 in Hartford and brought up in Arizona.Her maiden name is Brooke Burke. She is also an American model and dancer and has hosted ABC dancing shows with different music stars. Her father is a Jewish and her mother was French-born. She is also an entrepreneur and a television host. In addition, she has also done great in the field of writing by publishing her first book “The naked mom” in February 2011.Burke has wedded twice Dr. Garth, a professional surgeon and has two children with him. She later married an actor David Charvet with whom she also has two children. She schooled in Sahuaro high school, later studied business advertising, and broadcast journalism at Santa Monica College and UCLA. Her career picked up in Los Angelas when she started working with the modeling agencies. She has appeared on billboards, swimsuit calendars, and magazine covers. This aided in her personal development in her career. Burke started modeling at the age of 14 and she won her beauty pageant in Arizona and later was discovered by a talent agent (David "Alicia, 360). Brooke Burke is a TV host an author, a successful entrepreneur, actress, and a television specialist. She is considered as one of the best resources to use when dealing with issues of motherhood and social media networking. Currently, Burke is suffering from different health complications and later admitted that she is suffering from thyroid cancer and is ready to undergo surgery.
Contribution to the broadcasting industry
(1) Television
Burke has contributed richly to the broadcasting industry by hosting different TVs shows. Her first was in 1992 when she hosted a programme “wild on” on the TV from 1999-1902.She collaborated with Derek Hough and won the Season 7 of Dancing with all the stars and replaced Samantha Harris in 2005. (Chapman "Johnson, 182).She has also brought programmes to improve the life of aspiring singers by hosting summer reality show known as "Rockstar" in 2006. She also established a platform where women over the age of 35 years could highlight their modeling skills by hosting a TV land series "she got the look". Burkes appearances have been felt in films as a guest on various television shows "monk, less than perfect, that’s life” from 2001-2002.Burke was also a long time host of a programme known as E popular show on TV in 2002. She currently hosts dancing with the starts in collaboration with Tom Bergeron. Burke has also appeared on her TV series entitled “Transform your body with Brooke Burke " strengthen and condition”. Brooke’s television has hosted many events including “Miss America”.

Burke also contributed greatly in the development of video games, as she was vocal in electronic arts video games by asking people questions about video games she was able to come up with games such as “Need for speed, underground two”. She has also acted as a promoter of the swill ball video companies and she appeared in the first video that was launched.In addition, she played certain roles in the advertisement of companies such as Coca-Cola which is global. Brookes has a passion for fashion and design and she has advertised denim jeans.

Due to her modeling proficiency, she worked with the Bikini model and appeared on the cover page of Playboy in 2001. Burke was able to appear in men’s magazines becoming one a preferable candidate of other men’s magazines and listed as one of the best hottest blender models of film and TV shows. Brooke can be considered being amongst the most alluring women in the world and has featured in numerous top-selling magazines globally at least twice a year.

Despite being a model, Burke was also a gifted entrepreneur. She launched her online company known as Baboosh Baby, which she wrote some articles that entailed the items needed by expectant mothers. Burke also owns a website , modernmom.com which the main objective is to address issues of motherhood and fitness after baby delivery. Burke also talks about her children on this websites. Her love for fashion and design together with her brother in law Danny Guez made her establish her first line of active wear.

Burke is known for her phenomenal reckon and consummate complexion. Burkes modeling life started at the age of 14 and she possessed tropical looks due to her French –Portuguese heritage. Due to her prowess in modeling, she was spotted by a model agent and later moved to loss angels to study journalism. She made great strides by working with the Bikini model which made him appear on the cover page of men’s magazine. She also owns an application known as Brooke Burke Body that deals with body fitness. The fitness life application is applicable for anybody anytime and anywhere. At the age of 25, she was voted in as the sexiest girl in 2002 poll of the American edition.

Burke has made great strides to see that the broadcasting industries have developed. She is a motivation to all mothers who have such passion. She ensured that the broadcasting industry is not at standstill by inducing new ideas by hosting several shows and programmes to promote the talent of individuals in the world. She has also reached the mothers by writing books that really provides motivating information and articles to them. Despite having health challenges and admitting of suffering from thyroid cancer in 2012, Burke is still a motivation to all and has contributed greatly to the development of the broadcasting industry. The broadcasting industry should recognize the efforts of such personnel’s to its development. The world should be aware that Brooke Burke is a true replica of a strong woman who contributed much to the broadcasting industry.
