Notably, every human being has a different understanding and perception of the world. Your argument on why darkness came to nature may differ significantly from another person's view. A Christian Worldview is the concept by which Christians view the world. It is a combination of beliefs that enhance their understanding of the real world. A worldview is essential in a Christian's daily life as it acts as an aid in decision making. Moreover, a Christian Worldview instills deeper believe in human dignity, miracles, morals and possible redemption by Christ among Christians.
Part II
Biblical Worldview enables Christians to view life from a Godly point. Through this, Christians believe that God is the inspiration for the bible. As stipulated in Genesis 1:1, God created the world and everything in it. He is the supreme head of the Universe (Norris). Besides, God brought humankind to life as the final and unique part of his creation. He created man from the soil, breathed life into him and later made a woman from the man's rib. In the book of 2 Timothy 3:16, the bible serves as God's divine word to humanity. It also gives final guidance on origin and way of life. The whole essence of creating the universe was to bring order to the world, by transforming formless earth into a world full of life.
God created human beings in His image and likeness. Human beings are the closest to the Creator. As such, the identity of Human beings represents the true nature of God. However, the divine presence of God is limited in humans, but men and women were created to act as a representative image and glory of the maker. An outline of the identity of humankind is available in Genesis 1:27 and Exodus 34: 29-35. Also, in Genesis 2: 15-17, human beings are supposed to obey God's commandments throughout their lives completely.
As outlined in the first and second chapters of the book of Genesis, God created human beings for two significant reasons; multiplying and watching over the rest of his creation. Besides, God gave human people the ability to relate to each other and most importantly with the creator. Communicating through languages and reasoning improves human relationships. Nonetheless, all humans share a universal identity characteristic whereby each is entitled to a unique purpose.
Human beings can make choices and decisions by moral judgment. However, humankind is not entirely merciful to the environment but can alter it to suit their needs. Man is entitled to total submission on God's commandments as well as rule over the earth and his life by moral values. The concept of sin helps human beings in knowing what is right or wrong (Bertrand). Sinful acts are against the will and commandments of God (Genesis 2: 15-17). Earthly leaders and rulers can punish wrongdoers for morally unacceptable acts. Morality can be determined by the effects of one's actions to God's creation. Activities that harm nature in any way are considered immoral. However, according to Genesis 2:19, only God has the supreme powers to determine sinners.
Christians believe in life after death. It is a compelling promise of eternal life to all Christians from God if one lives their life on earth in a holy manner. The resurrection of Christ the son of God and the many testimonies in the word of God is an assurance that there is life after death. The Bible outlines on the occurrences after one dies. A reading from Luke 16: 23 is a clear indication that one will maintain their identity in the afterlife just like Lazarus. Praises and worship will dominate the heavens in the afterlife (Revelation 19: 1-5).
Part III
The biblical worldview belief system can significantly influence the way human beings relate to the environment and the rest of God's creation. Human beings may tend to act supreme over the non-human creation thus acting against their existence. Hurting the environment to meet their needs is against the initial plan of the Creator. God created human beings to watch over his creation and not to destroy it in any way. Human beings are supposed to coexist with the rest of nature peacefully (Genesis 2: 1-4). Moreover, the biblical worldview can affect the way you vote in the local or national elections. The decisions to elect leaders we think are best occur from moral judgment. One could end up passing a wrong judgment without knowing it; hence choose even worse leaders. The ability to determine the right people from the bad ones lies in their willingness to follow God's commandments (Genesis 2). It is not about how best they impress the human beings. People should be judged by the state of their hearts and not from the outside look.
Conclusion
The Christian World overview is a critical element in determining the direction of the life of Christians. It is essential in making choices in the daily life. As such, believers should endure to do what is right in the eyes of God. The bible is a tool every Christian should own to enrich their faith in God. Everyone should strive to experience life even after death.
