The 'Christ on Campus'

‘Christ on Campus’ is one of the American Christian community which is comprised of various people having different cultures and church benches. Its main goal is to assist many people to understand who is Jesus and observe church missions in worshipping. Another crucial goal as to why this community is allocated there is to make people who are around there follow Jesus steps fully in their lifetime so that they could attain eternal life. They also worship bible study and still serve Jesus together locally and globally at large. In addition to the above, the community is aimed at helping people to discover their identity and know the purpose why God created and made them to whom they are. Through this, they are encouraged to observe Gods and obey Him.

The community does believe that Jesus Christ was a God in the flesh. Through this believe the community to acknowledge that Jesus was both God and man in totality. Also, they believe God created them to live together as brother and sister, help one another in all means, live without discrimination to any other, keep close to Him all the time, and take care of the other creatures since man was given that mandate. In contrast to this, man people have ignored their creator to worship gods and fail to acknowledge God as their creator without knowing they are breaking their close relationship with Him.

In addition, they believe that Jesus was born, lived, taught the Gods way to the disciples, later crucified, died and resurrected ascending to the heaven. This was a sign of forgiveness for the sins people had committed bringing them close again to God. Lastly, they do believe that trusting in biblical is not a mental exercise. Trusting in Jesus was a matter of having faith but not mental action. They follow this believe to mean they are God representatives, likeness, are called by Him, and loved them more.

The ‘Christ on Campus’ shares together, shares communion, teachings from the Bible above all seeking guidance and counseling as I observed after service. They also meet to practice on scriptures, singing, and fellowships on to the small groups of the church over the weekdays. All college students are entitled to worship each time they need freely without enforcement.

The community also does organize for seminars to get some teaches, sharing meals together as a family according to Bible teaches too. They also organize the tournaments which bring the youths together in the church community. They again go visit the sick people in hospitals and even homes to portray Gods teaches. They send college students to the University of Arkansas to be disciple-makers as the kingdom of God.

Methodology

Participants- 2 College students participated, 2 staff members and 1 church attendant. They all gave me an information about the ‘Christ on Campus’ which I combined and came up with this research. Meanwhile, they were interactive and socializing.

Materials- questionnaires, interview and observation.

Design and Procedure

In this research, descriptive was used to show the causal link between the variables, the goals, and purpose. The variables include values, goals, and practices. In order to re-examine this research deeply, it, therefore, called for highlighting the three causal variables that are seen to be letting community worse off. The very challenging factor was on finance to enable college students going to University and maintaining the well-being of the community.

The broad set of goal was to help people, especially the college students, know God and acknowledge He is there. Members can use emails to pass information to the office, call, go to the office and express themselves physically. During Sundays, church members are given typed copies also and announcements are made. The meetings of the ‘Christ on Campus’ are held on the Rockhouse and in the office. It possesses more than one genre that is songs, Bible which consists of the Old and New Testament, and sermons. In conjunction with the genre, they also have several sets of lexical wordings in their languages since they have their own dictionary. Words like ‘Amen’, ‘Communion’.

‘Christ on Campus’ also has a threshold level of members having an appropriate degree which is relevant and competent. It consists of director, technical stuff, church members, worshiper, counselor, discipliner, and mentors.

Discussion

‘Christ on Campus’ has its goals and purpose as to why it exists making the people who attend services there be valued Christians. They are encouraged to know God is their might and only one to be worshiped. All communicative practices are eligible to all church members and college students. They are all encouraged to be of good moral and disciplined even as they go to the University of Arkansas. These two aspects of ‘Christ on Campus’ are of great importance to me and any other person since they are core to any individual in order to prosper in life. A lesson is that God is our giver and we should adore to Him only and grow to respect His virtues.

In conclusion, as ‘Christ on Campus’ does acknowledge God to the highest degree also we should be able to acknowledge the same and do well, relate with others well too. In future am expecting to find many readers following my writings since I will not stop here to follow up ‘Christ on Campus’ day to day on worshipping our mighty.
