The primary reason the figures are categorized as an enterprise is that they carry on together more than ten processes or individuals. Departmental processes could be utilized if the process was more straightforward on both figures such as handling the item and proceeding with the same. On the contrary, it would be considered inter-enterprise if it were to be more convoluted including more people or steps.
Question 2
The application of an enterprise information arrangement which process a shared database would offer an opportunity for the county to have multiple interactions between various departments, and a chance for applicants to understand the status of their application process and individual permits. The advantage here is that it eliminates information silos. In this case, the county would be in a position to mitigate the duplication of resources and information across various divisions, thus, restricting the requirement for office receptionist to have applicants on hold for an hour or more in every unit. Furthermore, the paperless system would offer an opportunity to each section to have immediate access to the status of an applicant on their permit as well as notes and modifications from instructors.
Question 3
The separation of permits that are designated to every division would always require to be a fundamental process. Integration of an enterprise information arrangement would let permits to be reviewed on an individual basis and either to be rejected or approved in the same manner. The system will also allow any inspector to proceed to examine a submitted permit from where it was last inspected, thus, reducing the labor review process.
Question 4
I think the answer in the third question is better due to the simplicity and improvement the county has made from that change. The answer to question 3 seems more assertive than the solution of item 2, and a better solution as the county has changed. The only disadvantage here is that some positions would no longer require employees.
Question 5
Working with the team takes some understanding and patience; the proper system explanation will assist in acknowledging the advantages of the arrangement. In this case, we should include her in the research team to find out the daily challenges that she encounters and assists the team in incorporating a system that meets those requirements. Demonstrating the advantages that the system will bring to the work process would transform the vision and mentality regarding the new improvements.
