The book of Revelation is a book of New Testament which is also referred to as Revelation of John which occupied a central position in the eschatology of Christianity. This book it’s the only document apocalyptic in the New Testament. John was the author of the book who was a prophetic in Christianity and the title of the book is obtained from the initial word of the entire book in Koine Greek. It was written in the period of crises to offer heavenly visions to the world and what was to happen eventually on the world. In john’s message he urges all the churches to be faithful and endure all the prosecution they faced. He foresaw Rome as the embodiment of powers of Satan. The author told the churches which were faithful that they were soon going to gain victory that were set against them (Gibin & C, 2009).

Apostolic period is the history of Christianity which was traditionally referred as the period of the twelve apostles. Apostles were believed to have a dispersed from Jerusalem. In regard to the scholars, those who were referred as followers of Jesus were principally composed from Jewish sects in the late period of second Temple. In the apostolic period; the stage 1 describes the ministry of Jesus. In the inauguration of the apostolic period, Christianity success was due to initial effusion of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples in the day of Pentecost which fulfilled the divine vows. Christians continued to worship and Jews manifested less opposition to Christians in order to recognize different regions (Grillmeir &A. (2005). In this stage peter and Stephen dominated in Christianity. Also in this stage the initial council in Christianity took place in the first and second mission of Paul. In the mission of Gentiles in the world Gospel was implied to have different primary targets. This was meant purposely to enable Christians to have knowledge of the world as lord and salvation.

In the period 2 from stage 2-4 it’s all about the post resurrection preaching by the apostles and the Evangelists writing of  Gospel. In stage 2 the conviction of Jesus that came after his resurrection and the third stage gives message on Jesus that was shaped by the conditions concerning the insights of the  writers of Gospel themselves. The Evangelist wrote the Gospel purposely to ensure readers would believe in Jesus Christ being the son of God (Grillmeir & A., 2005).

Rome obtained the imaginations of early Christians with a bad and good essence. In the New Testament Rome is recognized as a town where Paul received a nice reception from a mob of followers of Christ and also as an area where Peter and Paul were put to death as per record of the traditional Christians (LaCugna & C., 2011).

There was a society of Christianity in Rome by the time Paul visited the city back in 50 centuries. A minute fraction of Rome, one million was residents. Paul could mention the Rome Christians by names where by the biggest percentage was made up of women. In Paul’s letter to Romans he gives a useful hint to existence of the early Christians in the town of Rome. There were tradesmen, merchant and slaves who could have been immigrants from Mediterranean east simply because could speak and write in Greek. In the Rome Christians communities grew attracting specific slaves and women from different social classes.

In these societies members from Rome got others to care for them in the situations of sickness or to the widowed and eventually could bury them. They could be leaders or even people were being respected in the confines of houses found in distinctive churches. Young girls who were demanded by the law in Rome to engage in early marriages and bear children, considered it better off than being in arranged marriages with endangered childbirth. This was because in Christian communities, virgins were viewed as important and privileged classes in the society. Being a Christian was an outweigh of risks in families. According to popular todays thought, Roman citizens had freedom to exercise the religion of their choice. This could only be done only if they could not hold huge meetings of which Roman officials were afraid of movement resistance that could interfere with orders in the public.
