A psychologist argues that different people have the different characteristics and attributes. These characteristics involve the personal interests, skills personality types, and values. Every person has different personal interests, and it is proven that even the identical twins cannot rhyme in this personal characteristics (Smith at el pg3). A focus 2 Is the website created to help the students in known these personal characteristics as well as helping people choose their most possible career. In this paper am going to look at my characteristics, analyze these instruments and look at what I would need to know while dealing with the expert. In addition to this, I will criticize the focus two results.
A personal interest is what a person likes to do what he sees being sweet for his life. People can quickly know their interest by having the analysis on what they like doing (Fonteyne at al 23). My interest is music I like listening to music, and I have written several lyrics that I used that I have performed on several occasions during my school life. Skills, on the other hand, are the abilities that one has acquired through the interaction with people (Brandt, Brian, " Jan Klein pg 11). One can only learn their skills by viewing how other people react to them. When dealing with a challenging issue among my group members, they always take my answers as the final answers others in addition to this in case of disagreement most of the times been invited to solve. According to the focus am dependable. My personality that is the nurturer, this is because I put my friend's interest above my interests. Personality is the psychological categorization of people. Finally, values are what people believe is essential to them; a person can have more than one value as they live, factors that I believe are important to me is appreciation and caring.
According to the focus, my option majors by the personal characteristics is the fact that I should major in human-related careers. The best profession that would fate me is being a doctor or s nurse. I would wish to know if a person can change as people grow up to be adults. In addition to this, when having an expert to advise me, I would wish to know how these personal attributes would help me as taking my career as a psychologist. In addition to this, I want to know if one’s interest is related to a person’s talents. For example, my interest being a musician is it possible that I can be right in the music industry? I gave up on singing and writing songs when my friends said my voice is always pathetic. However, I love listening to music. Finally, I would wish to know if having a nurturing personality is suitable for any individual. Is having people’s interest above yours suitable for an average human?
The results on the focus2 are beneficial, and they are the truth. It efficiently helps a person stops to doubts themselves about how they act. The Focus also helps a person understand other individual’s actions. Knowing that it is people’s characteristics that make them act the way they do help have a peaceful interaction with them. The focus also plays a vital role in as it is helpful in determining the most accessible career that rhyme with a person’s characteristics. However, the focus2 should not be taken in such as much seriousness this is because on selecting of s person career the brain capacity and some other aspects of life should be considered. For example, in my case, the conclusion is that I should be a doctor or a nurse. I am phobic to blood, and the smell is such that I cannot even slaughter a chicken, so it is complicated for me to be involved in the field. Additionally, the conclusion on person’s characteristics should not be concluded by asking vague questions. They should be concluded through observations from a person close to them such as parents. These traits in the systems are merely how people see themselves the true nature of people is based on the opinion of other people other than themselves.
Advisors will be able to use the Focus2 if they use their observations as well as the student's results on the platform. This will be helpful because it will involve the expert's results in comparison to the system results. On the other hand, an advisor can know the students’ capability in term of the brain capacity and factors such as being phobic in my case above. This means that he can give a clear direction that contradicts the students. The school can use the Focus2 at the career center it is very comprehensive in consideration of the people characteristics. Notably, the real experts should be involved to avoid students being misled by the system.
In conclusion, it is essential for people to analyze the general nature of the personal characteristics. However, it would not be helpful done by a computer system that does not involve observations.
