College education and its importance to society
College education is important to the society of today, students all over are working on their academics to strive for good grades and achieve their goals accompanied with career satisfaction. Financing the students for their academic has become a great challenge to the society due to the economy. Thus students, teachers and parents think of free college tuition which will promote learning. Free college should be provided and be funded by the government since when students are in class regularly they will be able to focus on their studies and be encouraged to work harder to achieve better grades.
Concentration on studies and alleviating financial burden
When free college education is given to the students, they will be able to concentrate on their studies (Feng " Zi-qi, 16). Some students depend on working so that they can cater for their fees, they end up doing part-time jobs and they are full-time students hence losing concentration on their academics. They have to rely on their job so that they are able to buy the necessary books required in class. These jobs take most time of the students instead of studying. When college education is free student would have more time to educate themselves and hence be able to concentrate in class. When the college education is free there would be no worry about the student financial situation.
Promoting equal opportunities for all students
There should be free college education since in the society there some students from the poor society who work harder to achieve their goals but they are discouraged by the higher fees of the tuition (Burney, Virginia H " Jayne R. Beilke, 295-321). These students deserve the opportunity to continue with their academics by providing free tuition to them. Some of the students who score highest grades in school lack enough money to pay for their college tuition and thus they are not able to continue with their academic journey. Lack of money should not be a factor affecting students from not completing their studies and more so fading their dreams of what they want to become in their lives. When free education is provided some students will work harder and try to get admission to the best colleges since there are no high costs required (Shah " N. S, 17~22). Through the free college tuition, there would be more high grades which would encourage the education system to provide more learning institutions and colleges.
Advantages to the government and society
When free college education is given, it will be an advantage to the government since it is an investment for a good cause. This would not be wasted money to the government but would be a future spending. Students will have chances to get in school and be able to pursue their education which is funded and end up being accountants, architects, and other important professionals leading to the country's economic growth. The majority of the students will be through with their college education and the country will have more educated people (Bowen " Howard, 12). The money invested by the government for the college tuition will have great effects and will develop the country's economy, making it a better place to be.
Conclusion
The college should be free, instead students should be paid to go to colleges because they are going to better themselves and also promote the economy of the country. Making new experiences is great, hence no one will enjoy the experience when there are some debts to think of and worry about them. Education should be provided to inspire the minds of students, not just filling their heads with other thoughts such as finances. Every student has the right to be educated and have the opportunity to view this world in another perspective other than troubles and do something to satisfy themselves in their life. If the college education would be free students would not worry about the costs, instead, they would focus on learning and getting educated (Buckingham " Caroline, 226~253). Students should have worries on excelling and academic progress but not the price to pay to get their education. This plan for free college education should be incorporated to enhance the growth of future leaders of the country.
