Teaching is one of the most important professions in the world. The above notion is based on the fact it is required as an activity needed to develop the members of every other endeavor. As a result of the importance of the teaching profession, it is expected of tutors to give their best hence the need for the development of education philosophy (Stabile, 2017).
The importance of the development of a teaching philosophy cannot be overemphasized based on the fact that serves as a guide by which an educator accomplishes the predetermined goals. The above concept begins with the identification of predetermined goals based on personal beliefs and values, then making them distinct, specific, and having credible references from with the ideas were developed (Lang, 2010).
A teaching philosophy serves as a guide for the achievement of a specific outcome. Hence it is important to mention also that my educating thinking shapes my coaching practice because it offers me the avenue of predetermining what I want to achieve concerning overall goals; therefore, I am able to identify the actions required to attain it. Based on the need to complete the above steps every lesson is developed with the aim of achieving a specified objective.
Over the years and in the course of my teaching experience I have had access to a couple of teaching philosophies. However, I am guided by one dominant teaching philosophy which is to achieve active interaction during my classes. Hence, I developed interactive question with every lesson plan. There is the need to mention the fact that I have seen the importance and benefits associated with the philosophy as discussed above. Thus, for me, it is written in stone and I do not expect it to change.
