From the article, I have learned that there are different issues that relate to mass imprisonment and injustices in our society. Some of the problems have been delved into by the article comprise racial discriminations, tribalism, and class system while others keep on arising with the changes in the system. The surprise I got from the article is that in this contemporary world, people are still stigmatized by racial discriminations and class system. The article also gives reason to the economic problems and relates the justice system to some economic exclusion.

It also indicates that justice is in the process of development, and there are several issues that shape the justice system. The governments have perpetuated some of the prejudices known as extrajudicial killings where the government kills people in disguise of protecting securities and protecting national interests. Most of the changes in the communities are occurring due to economic competition across the world. The effect has been felt in both regional and international levels.
