The Three Different Types of Mothers
The distant laughing of kids from a kindergarten in Florida was all that was heard as the children waited for their mothers to come pick them up after school. Samantha, Khloe, and Emelia are among the children in the school who are inseparable. Samantha and Khloe have even influenced their mothers to have a special bond with each other. Soon after Sam’s and Khloe mothers arrive together to pick their children. Emelia’s mother is late to pick her up from school, and it seems that she will have to take a bus back home again. Emelia is quite sad to see her two best friends running towards their mothers while she walks towards the bus stop.
The Ideal Mother
Mothers are special people, and everyone connects with them differently. The essay discusses the three different types of the mother. There are the ideal mothers who are the most common, the bossy mothers and the uncaring mothers who are rare to find.
The ideal mother is a familiar figure in most families. The ideal mother is of affectionate nature and cares deeply for her children. When Samantha runs to meet her mother, she is embraced and given many tiny pecks. Sam’s Mother is concerned about the day Sam she had. She listens carefully at the stories her daughter narrates to her. She is supportive of all her daughter’s escapades. A child who is nurtured by an ideal mother tends to be obedient and kind. An ideal mother similar to Sam’s mother is usually good role model not only to their children but also to other people. They educate their children on the importance of acceptance of every situation they are facing. They also offer their children with spiritual and emotional support. They tend to introduce their children to their specific religion at an early age. In general, an ideal mother is aware that parenting is an ongoing process that needs to be approached positively to bring up great children. The ideal mothers are also the complete mothers and some are the best friend mothers.
The Bossy Mother
Khloe’s mother works as a manager in the corporate world. She tends to boss people around, and she is used to this lifestyle. She continually forgets that Khloe is her daughter and therefore she bosses her around a lot. A bossy mother focuses more on checking the behaviors rather than showering their children with affection like the ideal mothers. Khloe’s mother is particularly attentive to the Khloe grades and cleanliness. Khloe mother often uses a routine to nurture her daughter like going to bed at a specific time. Khloe’s mother continuously bombers her daughter with commands. Most of the children who grow with a bossy mother tend to be rebellious, and they may show less affection towards their mothers. A bossy mother is also known as the me-first mother (Psychologies, 2010). They are concerned on making their children behave in way that reflects positively on them.
The Uncaring Mother
Lastly, the uncaring mother is a type of mother who does not show any form of attention towards their children. The uncaring set of mothers is a rare type of mothers. The uncaring mothers can also be termed as the unpredictable mothers (Psychologies, 2010). The set of mothers may lack maternal mothers mostly because nature to which they conceived their children was unpleasant to them. Unlike the ideal and bossy mother who show some attention, they care less about their children wellbeing. She is never concerned about her children lifestyles. Emelia’s mother is of such caliber. She is a self-centered woman who cares only about herself. Emelia is a sweet child who performs excellent in school, but she is always late and untidy at school. Children with such mother tend to be lonely since they have been deprived of the maternal affection. Emelia is a lucky girl since she has reconnected with her two friends Sam and Khloe. However, she gets mocked by other children since she is always messy. Emelia frequently goes home alone since her mother cares less about picking her up from school.
