Android was introduced by Google as an operating system. IPhone has the IOS. IOS is a custom made operating system that is used on apple products whereas Android operating system is used in other devices by different mobile manufacturers.
This then brings into light the first argument on why android is superior to the IOS. Android is offered by a variety of devices. From Samsung, Oppo, Huawei, Xiaomi and many others. The different mobile providers are a sign of diversity. Every phone has different specs from the screen size, to the battery life and design. This gives a customer the opportunity to choose whatever device they want with the specifications that they want. This is in contrast to the IOS which is only used in Apple products, therefore only an IPhone or a Mac will have the IOS. IPhone users are limited to using the phones made and designed by Apple.
Downloading applications and games using the android Google play store has never been easier than on an android phone. For those using an IPhone it is restricted to downloading just any other application or game that is in the market. The Application can only be acquired from the Apple store. Therefore music, games and applications that are not on the Apple store cannot be found in an IPhone which is pretty much a limiting factor.
Some say, that IPhone has some of the best security features which include the fact that it is quite difficult to hack the IOS and that customer service of the IPhone is quite fast and implements any issues with an immediate effect compared to the android phone customer services. While this may be true to some point, android phone providers are all different therefore when it comes to customer service it depends with the type of phone one has acquired not the android operating system as the umbrella of the issue.
