The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) assists in controlling airborne pollution. Through scientific testing, the EPA ascertains the quantity of greenhouse gases that are discharged into the atmosphere by industries and automotive engines. According to the EPA's study on global warming, emissions of greenhouse gases have an impact on both the safety of the present generation and that of future generations, hence engines should emit as few of these gases as possible.

Further, exposure to the gases stimulates asthma attacks. The release of the gas pollutants affects the environment and impairs visibility. Furthermore, the emission of lead pollutants from vehicles contributes to neurological problems in children. Transportation activities contribute to 27% greenhouse gas emissions while industrial productions release 21% of the greenhouse gases (EPA, 2017).
The Significance of Scientific Testing for Greenhouse Gases
Therefore, the scientific test for greenhouse gases is significant in life and involves determining the harmful components of the gases released from automobile and factory engines. The test is helpful in regulating the release of harmful gases and monitoring pollution to the environment, thereby safeguarding the planet and human health. Furthermore, the results of the tests will guide in the creation of safe methods of producing energy for vehicle and production engines, thereby reducing the emission of greenhouse gases (EPA, 2017).
