The Public Library of Science published an article titled Nutrition and Health – The Association between Eating Behavior and Various Health Parameters: A Matched Sample Study. Nathalie, Johanna, Franziska, and Wolfgang wrote the article, which was reprinted in 2014. It’s seven pages long and filled with scientific data. Diet has an impact on one’s health, according to the report. Vegetarians, for example, have a very low incidence of cholesterol problems, hypertension, and coronary artery disease. As a result, their diet, which is common in saturated fats and cholesterol, contributes to this. Vegetarians have a low body mass index. This BMI is due to their health habits, which include drinking less alcohol and smoking less. Consequently, research has shown vegetarians report very few death cases resulting from diet-related complications.
On the other hand, intake of both red meat and high-caloric products increases high chances of health complications. As a result, individuals with high consumption of these products report more deaths resulting from diseases like heart attack and arthritis. In my opinion, the article addresses well impact of eating behavior on health elaborating the consequences of every habit. However, the report could have included other communities apart from Australia.
