I. Expressing Gratitude for Help with Community Outreach Program
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for all of your help during the preparation and execution of the community outreach program. Your advice on how to execute the program has greatly aided its enormous success. They are essential to achieving the predetermined goals. Without you, it truly would not have been feasible to complete the job, and I am looking forward to working with you on many more projects in the future.
II. Positive Response from the Targeted Community
The targeted community members have responded enthusiastically to the community outreach campaign, which has so far had great success. Most of the community members have shown eagerness to understand the basic concepts of technology. We have taught the community on the different ways, in which technology is changing, and the importance of staying updated in the area. We have identified and filled technology gaps in the community. It is amazing to see how much members of the community, both the elderly and the youth, are willing to learn new things. Though at this point we cannot measure the outcomes of the community outreach program, the outputs are positive.
III. Expectations for the Planned Festival
With the excellent progress of the community outreach program, we expect that the planned festival will also be great. The plans for the festival are almost complete, with some other organizations willing to collaborate and help with financing it. A big number of community colleges have also confirmed attendance. This year's festival has attracted more members than before, as we have received attendance request from colleges that are far from our county. The festival will comprise of a price giving ceremony, for which we have received the required funds.
IV. Challenges Faced by the Planning Team
Due to the projection of the high number of people attending the festival, our planning team is facing challenges, mainly related to logistics. Due to a large number of individuals expected to participate, we fear that the parking space in the community college will not be enough for all the guest vehicles. We are, therefore, considering renting some space in the nearby institutions. However, our budgetary allocation does not cater for that expense. Secondly, with the high number of student projected to come for the festival, the budgetary allocation for food will not be enough. In general, the high number of people attending the concert means increasing the budgetary allocation for the event to cater for the growing needs. The projected budget is hence expected to 50% more than we had planned, and hence, needs additional reimbursement.
V. Assistance Needed in Researching Tertiary Institutions
One area that we need assistance with is in researching all the tertiary institutions that offer courses in information technology from around the community. The outreach has highly impacted on the youth around the area, who are determined to study information technology. Consequently, most of them ask of the best colleges offering the course and their fee structure. We, therefore, would be more helpful if we could provide detailed information in the area.
VI. Conclusion and Impact of the Community Outreach
In conclusion, the community outreach has had an outstanding impact on the community. Use of social and broadcast media has increased the audience of the program, which has seen it gaining popularity among the youth. Of importance is the number of students, who want to enroll in technology related courses in college. This project has thus increased the popularity of Trimax Inc. in the community. We, therefore, expect increased sales and collaboration in this area.
