The Tampa Museum of facts and artworks dates back decades (ca.300BC. to A.D.500). There is also a diverse variety of media and traditions, ranging from the early Bronze Age to the Roman Empire's Terracotta. The art-house is a significant permanent exhibition of classical exhibits. Over the course of more than 30 years, the Tampa Museum of Art has amassed a larger collection of antiquity ranging from ancient times to the late Roman era. The black figure eye, Attic, was the first piece of art associated with classical Greece and Rome. This is a permanent work of art for the Tampa museum, and it symbolizes the Greek and Romans antiquities between 530-520 B.C. the cups were easily noticeable due to their stickily eye motifs which were on their outer surface. Its cup was known to influence all the males who were in a drinking party of the Greek Archaic symposium.

There have been new theories to evaluate the eyecup which include the Affect Theory, Viewer’s Response Theory, and the Object Agency Theory. This has enabled scholars to come up with the interactions between the object explored and the ancient users. The first eye represents a Gorgon on the interior and imagery on the exterior. Ringling museum was started by John Ringling who had traveled in Europe for years and fell in love with the baroque art. In 1925, he hired Philips who was an architect to design and build a museum in Sarasota. The medieval art exhibition of the Ringling museum has more than 80 collections rated between the years 1100 to 1500. One of the captivating fine exhibits in this museum is the tower of bones which is one of the oldest towers in Madrid. It was built in the 11th century by the Muslim inhabitants. The structure was outside Catedral, and it operated as a people’s post over the stream of old Arenal. After the conquering of Madrid by King Alfonso VI the watchtower was turned into a Christian wall.

My exhibit of interest is the salt seller. This was the dilemma of Charles V when he had the confusion of where to put the salt. This made him put the salt in an extraordinary container to represent hierarchy with three salt cellars one for Holy Roman Empire, his and the other for Wenceslaus of Germany. The early salt cellars are traced in the ancient Greek and were used to symbolize artistry social significance. Sometimes it could be used as tokens to pay soldiers or settling agreement and hence the term “earning his salt”. Salt was highly valuable during the medieval age as a food preservative and a condiment tool. Salt cellars were put at the high end of the royal table where the master and Lord sat. The other people just used the ordinary containers. Ringling museum was a nice place that I learned more about culture and the medieval age life. This was my first-time visit which has made me develop more interest to visit it again and again.

Dali museum exhibit looks at the history of MoMA's art through key gifts from donors. The exterior view of Dali museum is a modern, eye-catching building in Petersburg area. The windows are elongated like the grasshopper. The outside is a waterway with a beautiful sky. The galley contentment’s are displayed with an optical illusion that attracts the visitors. Dali painting and film is a permanent exhibit which comprises of over 130 paintings by Salvador Dali the film are displayed alongside his drawing, and the other works are illuminated alongside. Among the illuminated is the Un Chien Andalou film of 1929 by Luis Bunuel as the director and Salvador Dali. The film is a disjoint jumping from the beginning with “once upon a time”, and without a character of events changing the scene changes to “eight years later”. The movie starts with the young man Luis Bunuel who sharpens his razor on the balcony of the door then test the razor on his arm. At eight years there is a small man riding down the street wearing like a nun with a striped box around his neck. Dali museum is an outstanding place that captured my interest due to modern artifacts and paintings. The film which is one of my favorites was luminous and captivating.
