Organizational Change and Leadership

One of the key elements for a business to have a positive outcome in its growth and development despite the increasing economic hurdles, such as greater competition, is strategic leadership (Hao & Yazdanifard 2015, p.1). Fundamentally, leaders are in charge of managing business operations. They are also in charge of formulating a company's objectives and goals as well as selecting various methods for putting them into action. Importantly, great leaders may motivate their teams by fostering a supportive organizational culture and a variety of worker advantages including pay and health insurance (Hao & Yazdanifard 2015, p.1). Therefore, this paper precisely elaborates on organizational change and leadership in regards to business management.
Organizational Change and Leadership in Business Management
Organizational change is enhanced by different strategic considerations such as the desire to implement various methods of operations and the need to facilitate efficient enterprise performance. Similarly, the identified approaches of managing the business lead typically to structured changed activities relying on an opinion that change management entails a minimal set of intervention programs that can be attained within a short time (Pieterse, Caniëls & Homan 2012, p.799). However, to influence efficient operations and facilitate a competitive edge of the company, managers are to implement numerous approaches such as the change of the enterprise culture, learning, and teamwork.
Organizational Culture
According to Belias & Koustelios (2014, p.5), organizational culture involves common social developments in which managers have a substantial control. Significantly, the business norms play a critical role in enhancing the competitiveness of the company as it shares character expectations and beliefs in the enterprise operations. Importantly, leadership can create a good culture by developing trusts among different staffs of the firm to make a positive institutional culture (Hao & Yazdanifard 2015, p.3). Similarly, managers with an exemplary leadership skill can inspire a positive perception in the industry since they are capable of instilling trusts among the workers.
Understandably, affirmative principles in the entity help to increase the business performance, attitude and conduct of employees, hence, encouraging effective customer relations. Additionally, the enhanced organizational culture promotes and provide a sense of ownership to the firm, thus, motivates and strengthen loyalty to the business. Significantly, an effective institutional culture that does not discriminate an individual based on religion, race tend to offer a conducive operational environment, hence, lowers the possibility of internal conflicts (Hao & Yazdanifard 2015, p.4).
Learning
As speculated by Cho (2015, p.129), organizational learning plays a primary role in providing a source of value to the firm through enhancing the competitiveness of the company, increasing consumer demands, and providing the basis of innovations. Therefore, determined managers ought to inspire their staffs to learn by integrating multiple methods of motivators like promotions. Importantly, learning should be encouraged among the various levels of the firm to act as an example to the junior workers on the importance of expanding their knowledge (Hao & Yazdanifard 2015, p.4). Notably, both the leaders and other staffs need to join different pieces of training to increase their acquisition and expertise in several skills and facilitate an active integration of numerous changes in the firm.
Moreover, organizational learning has a significant effect on the workers as it promotes job satisfaction and the capability to genuinely adhere to a firm's work procedures and accepting impending threats. However, the learning systems in a business entail a tension between developing and disseminating new information through integration of the already existing ideas (Hao & Yazdanifard 2015, p.4). Therefore, lack of improved experiences of the employees and directors can lead to deteriorated performance and eventual death of the business.
Teamwork and Communication
Collaborations and communication among the employees are considered one of the fundamental techniques that can enhance innovation in the company, thereby, providing adequate performance. Similarly, teams allow individuals to liaise, promote skill development and offer constructive responses without facilitating conflicts among the staffs (Al Salman, Walid, & Hassan 2016, p.78). Notably, to obtain an active cooperation and develop an effective rapport with the firm, managers ought to create a culture that enhances trust between the staffs and can perform their duties without interference from other colleagues. Moreover, the approach expedites openness and exchange of ideas among the personnel, hence, considered an essential factor in promoting the business operations (Hao & Yazdanifard 2015, p.4). Consequently, leaders are to integrate diverse methods such as organizing seminars to facilitate dissemination of numerous ideas and strengthen the personal confidence of its members.
Conclusion
Consequently, leadership is one the primary aspect of enhancing an entity success since managers are mandated with the development of the firm's goals and objectives and determining techniques for their implementation. Therefore, the business directors are to create different strategies to facilitate effective organizational change without affecting the industries operations like changing the company's culture. In essence, the new institutional culture encourages and provide a sense of ownership, thus, motivates and enhance loyalty to the business. Similarly, implementation of numerous learning methods such as training and use of seminars to facilitate an exchange of ideas and innovations are some of the essential factors influencing performance.
