Once Upon a Time Episodes That Are Worth Watching

Episodes of Once Upon a Time

There are several episodes of Once Upon a Time that are well worth watching, but some are filler. These episodes are meant to give fans a taste of the best moments in the show, but lack a cohesive plot.

Season two's "Skin Deep"

For example, season two's "Skin Deep" was about a deal that Rumplestiltskin made with the ogre, which required him to trade Belle for his protection. While this episode had little to do with the main storyline, it does provide a few laughs, as well as some interesting twists.

A Musical Episode

Another popular episode of Once Upon a Time was a musical. The episode featured rousing numbers from Snow and Charming, as well as a standout song from Zelena. In the musical episode, the characters really shine and make the show worth watching. The show also successfully blends the musical episode into the established narrative for the season, ensuring that it blends in well.

Season 4's "Frozen" arc

Season 4's "Frozen" arc was a highlight, as it brought the Frozen story to life without losing the core narrative. The arc also introduced new characters, including the beloved Elsa, which was featured in the movie. The final moments of the season also featured the dramatic swan song of Killian and Emma as Dark Ones. Ultimately, it ended with the two of them returning to the land of the living, and Emma declares that they will always be friends and family, and that she will always be her true self.

Characters

"Once Upon a Time" has been a smash hit since its premiere in October 2011. The show is based on Disney's animated films, but has some differences. The show has an ensemble cast, and all of the characters are based on fairy tale characters. The cast is so diverse that it can be difficult to remember them all, even after five seasons.

Belle

Belle is a bookworm who has saved many lives with her knowledge. She has a gentle heart, but she will not tolerate dark magic. Her relationship with the Dark One is complicated and sometimes bumpy. Nonetheless, her character embodies a positive example of how we should treat one another.

The Blue Fairy

The Blue Fairy makes a recurring appearance on the show. She is a fictional character, and she appears in 35 episodes over the seven-year run of the show. In the film, she is the daughter of Captain Hook and Mother Gothel.

Storybrooke Setting

Fans of the ABC television show Once Upon a Time will soon have the opportunity to visit the actual set of the series. While the show takes place in a fictional town called Storybrooke, it is actually filmed in a real town near Vancouver, British Columbia. Steveston is a quaint seaside village, located about half an hour from Vancouver, and is home to a number of iconic locations from the show.

In the series, small towns are the setting for magical events. As such, it is no surprise that the crews would want to film scenes that would be representative of the town they are portraying. The cast and crew filmed dialogue scenes near the wooded area beside the Community Centre, as well as scenes in front of the Cannery cafe.

The town of Langley, BC is home to a town hall that was used as the Storybrooke town hall in several episodes. Many local businesses along Glover Street have been transformed into Storybrooke landmarks and have appeared in many episodes. Another key setting from the show is Emma Swan's office. As the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, she is tasked with breaking the curse and restoring order to Storybrooke. This includes foiling Regina Mills' plans to regain power.

Sexual Content

The content of Once Upon a Time is mostly based on popular fairy tales. While there is no explicit sexual content in this show, there are some instances of violent behavior that may be disturbing. Some episodes contain murder, sword fights, and death threats. In addition, there is implied sexual content and innuendo, and some iffy language.

For the most part, Once Upon a Time is rated for audiences eleven and older. However, if you have a younger child, it is not a good idea to expose them to this kind of content. The age rating is based on the content and the language used in the movie. It helps parents determine if the movie is suitable for their child.
