Climate
Climate refers to the general weather patterns in a certain area. Climate change is affected by a number of causes. This lesson will concentrate on events that introduce improvements in water, ice, and soil, as well as how they reflect climate.
Academic Environment
The academic environment must be beneficial to students. Seating configurations and classroom architecture have a huge influence on the efficacy of preparation, training, and evaluations in promoting learning for all students. The classroom must be in good conditions so as to keep students focused and can easily grasp whatever is being laid out in the visual teaching aids such as blackboards, presentations, and screens.
Also, the materials used in the learning process must be accessible to the students so that their learning may not be distracted while trying to locate the materials.

At the end of this lesson, the students must have learned changes that take place in water, ice, and soil and other different aspects of climate so as to determine what causes the prevailing weather conditions.

This lesson falls under earth and space sciences in relation to climate and seasons.
Agenda
The students will be asked to discuss what they know regarding the causes of climate changes. Each one of them will be required to mention any aspect that might have led to certain weather conditions. The students will be given a task to carry out in groups and then present later in class.
Formative Assessment
After the discussion, the students will be assessed individually through questions where their mastery will be evaluated basing on their scores.

Key vocabulary:
The most important terms to be considered in this lesson that students must grasp include; global warming, hydrosphere, cryosphere, radiation, and glaciers.
Function:
These terms are very useful in helping students gain better understanding of the climate change. For instance, hydrosphere and cryosphere are the main components of the climate system. It helps in understanding how each one of them contributes to the changes in climate.
The examples will be used to demonstrate to them so as to have better insight into the subject.
Form:
The students will be introduced to temperature changes and how it affects water levels and hence climate changes.
Instructional Materials, Equipment and Technology
The use of pictorials and other forms of visual aids will be used to enhance their understanding. The pictorials will describe the changes in the water level that might lead to the changes in the climate.
Grouping
The higher-performing students will be mixed with the moderate performers and the lower performers so as to ensure that there are no students who will feel sidelined and hence their understanding will be enhanced.

Prior knowledge connection:
This lesson is relevant to the previous one that was focused on the seasonal changes. Climate changes affect students in every aspect of life. Therefore, it will be easier for them to understand the facts because they will be able to connect to everyday life.

Achieving the learning outcomes of the subject will help students with the necessary skills to progress in life in case they would want to pursue a career related to this field in the future.

Closure:
The students will be asked to group themselves basing on their understanding so as to ask themselves questions regarding the learning outcomes to enhance the understanding of the students who are slow in learning.
The questions asked will be "What have you learned today in this lesson concerning the climate changes?"
Homework:
The homework will be for them to explore basic concepts involved in the climate changes.
