The author introduced models that are youth-led and gender-appropriate which can assist in cyber education in the world today. One of the approaches is the 3-tier model that comprised of universal e-safety education strategies. The approach would offer advice and intensive support to the vulnerable children. Katz, in her book, outlined the school-wide model that can play an integral role in preventing and responding to cases of children, teenagers, and teachers experiencing cyber-bullying. The school-wide program offers a fertile ground for guidance and tools to be implemented during lesson plans.

The book is useful for the teachers, youth workers, and educators and all professionals that deal with children affairs. In recent years, the rate of adolescent suicide increased creating a lot of concern from the parents and government. Researchers gained interest in the subject. Many of the findings show that cyber-bullying and such stressful environmental increases suicide risks. Bullying occurs in different forms and varied prevalence rates. Bullying can either be verbal, physical, relational or cyber. Each type of bullying potentially increases suicidal thoughts and behavior in victims. Rejection by peers and bullying triggers the psychological and other sequences of events that lead to suicidal tendencies. The article indicated that harmful externalizing behavior might develop during adolescence. Substance use and violent behavior are major elements that mediate effects of physical and cyber-bullying.

The aim of the author is to advise the parents not to allow children spend too much of their time on social media and the internet. The article presents reliable information that will be essential in the completion of current research. The article highlights the effects of bullying whether physical or emotional leading to suicidal thoughts. The article is very objective and not biased. The scientific research backed up the argument in the article thus increasing its reliability.
